A couple of weeks ago, I tweeted that if I got to 10 followers on my blog I would do my first give away and within about 2 days of saying that I reached this first milestone. Now I know loads of people will say that 10 followers is not a lot, I am well aware that there are bloggers out there with hundreds of thousands of followers, but to me it 10 is a huge number and means a great deal to me.
So in order to say thank you to you all I went to Superdrug and did what I do best... SHOP! I picked up a couple of things from some of my favourite drug store brands, so that you can fall in love with them too.
I decided to choose spring colours to help cheer everyone up during this dreadful weather we have been having in the UK. Below are some more shots so you can see the products in detail:

my favourite brand is Barry M, they all apply so well and have great wear time. If people ask me to recommend a brand I tend to say Barry M so they aren't horrified by the prices of China Glaze, OPI a-england or Butter London! ReplyDeleteOooh, so many great drugstore brands to choose from: Barry M, MUA, 2True, NYC, Collection/Collection 2000, No.7, No.17, Rimmel, Miss Sporty, Beauty UK.
ReplyDeleteI would give honourable mentions to MUA, Beauty UK and NYC, but my favourite would be Barry M. Their polish is inexpensive and yet they are always innovating. They are very often the first to bring a new look to the UK.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite drug store brand has to be Rimmel! I love their range of products and they have lovely new things. I love how they have a lot of bright products, such as the kate moss matte lipsticks and the apocalips lip lacquers! they are so gorgeous and because they sell them they have given me the courage to go out and wear such bright colours which i love :) My favs have to be kate moss in 110 (a beautiful bright pink!) and apocalips in big bang, a lovely bright red. i just love brights!

Those Barry Ms are amazing, bi a nail addict I'd been looking at them not too long before I saw your giveaway. My stepdaughter has snaffled and tried the eye make up. It suits her colouring better than mine as I'm ginger, I'm going to try and get her to pose for an eye of the day!
